Chicago Loop Express Illinois Secretary of State Facility

My experience here was absolutely wonderful! The staff were quick, helpful, friendly, and amazing at their jobs. I was in and out in less than 7 minutes for a duplicate license! The Loop Express DMV is truly a hidden gem of Chicago.

This place is awesome. I walked in there at 3 on a Tuesday and was out of there at 3:35. The best and quickest DMV experience I've ever had. Everything ran super efficient and everyone was really friendly. If you are hesitant about going, don't be. It was great.

I got there just before 11 (as the line got longer- both with people coming during their lunch break and some workers went on their lunch breaks). They quickly verified my documentation, changed my address, renewed my card, took my picture and got me on my way in about 30 minutes. Amazing! They like it if you have cash (mine cost $30) .Also, they were more concerned about the date on my docs rather than whether or not they were actually mailed to me- so I would recommend just printing off your most recent com ed bill and bank statement, even if you are paper-less. The staff were patient with questions and several of them were friendly. Thanks!

Today was extremely busy due to the fact there were a lot early voters standing in other lines. Staff was efficient. The line went as fast as it possibly could go. If the people were prepared to go through the process (having paperwork and IDs ready) the line would have gone even faster. This location is the quickest way to renew your driver's license.

My experience was exceptionally fast with great service received today for a driver's license renewal. Fiona was one of the clerk's who helped me and did her job with a smile on her face. I'll always come here as the service was fast, polite, respectful and friendly.

I was surprised to see a DMV with such great reviews, but now I understand! The staff was very kind and very fast. I waited in line outside the office for 40 minutes, which is definitely reflective of the number of people there, not slow service. Once inside, renewing my driver’s license, changing my address, and paying took all of 15 minutes. This was a Friday afternoon, so I expected it to take much longer. I’ll definitely be going here again if I need to.

Superb service - quick and efficient. The employees know what they are doing and are knowledgeable. I went in the morning around 8:15 after a long weekend and was still able to get my state ID renewed in under 15 minutes. That too, despite being an international. The employees knew exactly which documents they wanted to see and understood the process thoroughly. Ps internationals: always carry I-94. Not mentioned anywhere but it’s required. Not the employees’ fault if they ask for it.

I visit SOS offices almost every year to renew my ID (as IDs expire for non US citizens based on the duration of work authorization). I have been to 3 different SOS offices in Chicago area and this one is the fastest to get through. My two visits at this office have been pleasant. Today's visit around 9 am had just one person before me in the line so it took me hardly 10-15 minutes to get done with ID renewal application. Staff in the office were courteous and was happy to see one new staff being trained in front of me ....... i sort of enjoyed the experience of listening to what they see on the monitor while entering your details :D
